Gettin' Ready for Graphic Policy

  1. Of the five panels on this page, the second one is my favorite. My least favorite of the five is the last one.

The top panel, the large one, is fine. It looks good. Jesus E. Lee grabbing one of those demons by the throat is a nice touch, to be certain.

But, the second image just explodes with energy. Not one speck of wasted white space, as far as I am concerned. BOOM!! Impact! Obliterating energy.

That final panel gives Jesus E. Lee more of a pointed look to his beard. It reminds me of some of the Jesus E. Lee animated figures that you drew here:

It's not that Jesus E. Lee in animated form is a bad thing. Rather, it is just a departure from what he has come to look like in the series, to date.

The guy's "package" in the third image made me laugh. If that's Kirby krackle in that scene, a tad more or heavier might have been an improvement.

That fourth panel, it's OK. It's not a CHOOM piece, as in Jesus E. Lee issue # 1, but it's better than the fifth panel, simply because we see some action.
